The Bonn II conference on December 5 will lay the foundations for the future of Afghanistan. Ten years after the first Bonn conference, representatives of 90 nations and international organisations will assemble to discuss with the government of Afghanistan three major themes: long-term engagement, transition and peace process. This will be theopportunity to define future relations and engagements, review the transition process and analyse the progress of the peace and reconciliation process.
The Annual Conference of the European Network of NGOs in Afghanistan aims to encourage debate and to provide a platform for a fruitful and constructive exchange between Afghan civil society, EU institutions, national governments, NATO and international experts, which will contribute to the ongoing process ahead of Bonn. |
